Ensuring your safety.

Our COVID-19 Response…

Safety is our top priority at Dynamic Play both for our staff and guests, that is why things will run slightly differently at our LEGO® parties and workshops upon resumption on the 4th July and will remain in place during the COVID-19 outbreak. Our response will be under constant review subject to government guidelines.
Following the governments decision on the 9th September to limit gatherings both indoors and outdoors to a maximum of six people (regardless of age), we are only able to offer parties that fit within this rule. For example, if a household consists of 2 adults and 1 child, you will only be able to invite 2 guests (as our facilitator counts as one). Parents must only drop off their children and not enter the premises at any time.

For a limited time only, we are offering multiple sessions (with a maximum of 4 children) for the cost of a 90 minute party (£120) to allow your child to invite up to 9 guests spread over 3 x 1 hour sessions.

At our parties, each child will be assigned their very own Play Pod upon arrival within which they must remain for the duration (unless instructed to do so by a crew member) to ensure social distancing. Everything required for the party will be placed in the Pod prior following a strict hygiene protocol (see below).

Before entering a Play Pod, children must wash their hands thoroughly and use the hand sanitizers provided. If any of the guests or their family display COVID-19 symptoms prior to the party, we ask them not to attend and we will offer to rearrange free of charge.

Although the guidelines state that gatherings can now take place indoors, we strongly recommend that parties take place outdoors, preferably in a open space or a large garden (providing that social distancing can be practiced). As winter approaches, you may wish to consider buying or hiring a gazebo. If you wish the party to be indoors, we kindly ask that you ensure that the area is well ventilated i.e. all windows are open.

Please refer to the latest guidelines regarding gatherings. It is your responsibility to ensure government guidelines for gatherings are adhered to and Dynamic Play accepts no responsibility for losses or fines caused by breaching the rules. We reserve the right to refuse entertainment if more than the allowed number of guests are in attendance and in this case your deposit would not be returned.

As far as possible, we ask guests to adhere to the latest social distancing guidelines when communicating with our crew, however, PPE will be used if closer contact is needed i.e. technical assistance.

In accordance with the advice provided by the World Health Organisation, each of our LEGO® sets will be ‘quarantined’ for at least 72 hours between parties in addition to pieces being soaked in hot soapy water. Only the required pieces will be placed in each Pod inside a washable bag.

Each of our tablets will be wrapped in cling film which must remain on during the party and then be safely disposed of at the end of the party.
Where more than one party is to be provided within the same day, equipment that is touched by children will be used only once and a new set of equipment will be used for each group.

"Dynamic Play provided a brilliant Lego party for my six year old. There was a group of ten children all 5 or 6 years old. They were all really focussed on building their robots in pairs and loved racing them at the end. They were all able to follow the clear instructions and the team from Dynamic Play were lovely and engaging. I would highly recommend them!"
