Back-To-Back Drawing

Looking to improve communication amongst your group or team? A game of Back-To-Back Drawing is sure to help…

What you will need…

Pens/pencils, enough blank sheets of paper to go around and a facilitator (of course!).

How to play Back-to-Back Drawing…

1. Before the game commences, the facilitator must draw an object i.e. a guitar onto half of the blank sheets of paper provided (ensure that different objects are drawn to avoid any cheating!).
2. The group needs to then be split into pairs within which they must be sat back-to-back to one another.
3. The facilitator then hands out the pieces of paper containing the object to one individual and a blank piece to the other.
4. The objective is simple, the individual with the piece of paper containing the object must verbally communicate the shape to the other to replicate (without actually telling them what it is!) using phrases such as semi-circle and rectangle.

Skills utilised…

Effective communication is the key to completing this game.

"I would like to thank Nath & Bret for a fantastic 6th Birthday Party for my Son on 7th March. The kids were really engaged with making the Lego robot and following the instructions on the laptop screen. Fun was had by everyone and all the parents said it was the best idea and the quietest a group of 10 boys had been for an hour and a half! Bret was fantastic in helping everyone to make sure they were at the right stage and all the kids were showing Nath their robot progress. I would definitely recommend for a child’s birthday party and a unique team building event for adults!"
