Mine Field

As winter approaches us once again and we head indoors, why not attempt a simple game of Mine Field. This game focuses on developing communication and trust simply by using what is at your disposal…

What you need…

A group of participants, a blindfold (this could simply be someones scarf!), some objects scattered across the room and a good old facilitator!

How to play the Mine Field teambuilding game…

The overall aim of this game is for one participant to guide another (who is blindfolded) around a simple obstacle course in the quickest time without bumping into an object! Before the facilitator instructs participants, they must make some rules in terms of the repercussions of hitting an object, for example, a time penalty or a restart.

Skills Utilised…

This game requires children to communicate with each other at all times to avoid hitting an object resulting in a penalty.

"Dynamic Play provided a brilliant Lego party for my six year old. There was a group of ten children all 5 or 6 years old. They were all really focussed on building their robots in pairs and loved racing them at the end. They were all able to follow the clear instructions and the team from Dynamic Play were lovely and engaging. I would highly recommend them!"
